Terms and Conditions Vallée d'Or

Article 1 – General
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, deliveries, and sales agreements of physical products between Vallée d'Or and its customers, with a particular focus on car perfumes.
1.2 Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
1.3 Rights and obligations arising from agreements with Vallée d'Or may only be transferred with written permission from Vallée d'Or.
1.4 The applicability of any general terms and conditions of the customer is explicitly excluded.

Article 2 – Offers and Agreements
2.1 All offers from Vallée d'Or are non-binding and valid while supplies last.
2.2 Product descriptions and images on the website and social media are indicative and may differ from reality; no rights can be derived from them.
2.3 An agreement is concluded as soon as the order is confirmed by email or when Vallée d'Or has started processing the order.

Article 3 – Prices and Payment
3.1 All prices are stated in euros and include VAT unless otherwise specified.
3.2 Shipping costs are stated separately at checkout.
3.3 Vallée d'Or reserves the right to change prices. If a price increase of more than 10% occurs after the agreement is concluded, the consumer has the right to cancel the agreement.

Article 4 – Delivery and Transfer of Risk
4.1 Orders are usually shipped within 1–3 working days unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Delivery times are indicative and do not entitle the customer to compensation.
4.3 The risk of damage or loss passes to the customer at the moment of delivery at the specified address.

Article 5 – Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
5.1 Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 30 days of receipt without giving a reason.
5.2 During this period, the consumer must handle the product carefully. Car perfumes may only be returned if unopened and unused.
5.3 Returns must be registered in advance via info.valleedor@gmail.com, stating the order number.
5.4 Return costs are borne by the consumer unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered.
5.5 Vallée d'Or will refund the purchase amount within 14 days after correct receipt of the return shipment.
5.6 The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers. Business customers are excluded.
5.7 If a returned product is damaged or shows signs of use, Vallée d'Or reserves the right to charge a depreciation fee.

Article 6 – Warranty and Complaints
6.1 Vallée d'Or guarantees that the delivered products comply with the agreement, the stated specifications, and normal usability expectations.
6.2 Visible defects must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt.
6.3 Damage caused by improper use, such as spilling, excessive use, or incorrect placement in the car, is not covered by the warranty.
6.4 Complaints will be handled within five working days.

Article 7 – Liability
7.1 Legal Responsibility
Vallée d'Or is responsible for the quality and safety of its products in accordance with applicable legal requirements. If a product has a defect covered by the statutory warranty, Vallée d'Or will repair or replace the product free of charge, or – if this is not possible – refund the purchase price.

7.2 Exclusions of Liability
Vallée d'Or is not liable for any damage resulting from:
a. improper or careless use of the product;
b. failure to follow the usage and safety instructions;
c. modifications or repairs to the product by third parties;
d. normal wear and tear or ageing of the product.

7.3 Limitation of Liability
Vallée d'Or is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including – but not limited to – loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of data, or damage to reputation.

7.4 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the statutory rights of the consumer, nor does it exclude liability for damage caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of Vallée d'Or.

Article 8 – Product Responsibility
8.1 Vallée d'Or imports certain products from outside the European Union. All products comply with applicable European laws and regulations and have been tested according to relevant safety standards.

8.2 Vallée d'Or guarantees that imported products are safe for normal and intended use, provided that the usage and safety instructions are followed.

8.3 Any complaints regarding product quality or safety must be reported in writing or by email to Vallée d'Or as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after discovery, accompanied by proof and a clear description of the defect.

8.4 Vallée d'Or reserves the right to inspect and/or test the relevant product before any compensation, repair, or replacement is issued.

Article 9 – Force Majeure
9.1 In case of force majeure, Vallée d'Or has the right to suspend or terminate the agreement without any liability for damages.
9.2 Force majeure includes, among other things: natural disasters, fire, government measures, transport disruptions, strikes, or technical failures beyond the control of Vallée d'Or.

Article 10 – Intellectual Property
10.1 All texts, images, designs, logos, packaging, and other expressions of Vallée d'Or are protected under intellectual property law.
10.2 These may not be copied, distributed, or commercially used without the express written permission of Vallée d'Or.

Article 11 – Applicable Law and Disputes
11.1 All agreements are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

Article 12 – Final Provisions
12.1 If one or more provisions of these terms prove to be null or invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully in effect.
12.2 Vallée d'Or reserves the right to amend these terms. The most current version is always available by request via info.valleedor@gmail.com.

How to use the Vallée d’Or car perfume?

  1. Remove the grid (vent clip cover) on the back of the holder.
  2. Take out the empty fragrance membrane from the holder.
  3. Insert the new fragrance membrane into the holder, with the aluminum side facing upwards. Pull the aluminum strip through the opening in the grid and click the grid back into place.
  4. Carefully remove the protective foil without damaging the membrane.
  5. Click the clip into the correct position on the holder.
  6. Attach the holder to your car’s air vent.
  7. Use your car's ventilation system to adjust the fragrance intensity.
  8. Done! Drive with class.
